Brief
Entering the commercil consumer space having concentrated on the proffesional athletics market, Catapult were looking for animated assets that would help raise awareness about how their new consumer sports tracking software and hardware

Catapult is the world's leading provider of professional sport tracking equipment with the sole aim of helping athletes to achieve their sporting best. Catapult were planning on using their sport tracking expertise for the professional athlete sector and expand it for use by the everyday consumer market.

Operating at the intersection of sports science and analytics, Catapult products are designed to optimize performance, avoid injury, and quantify return to play. Catapult has over 400 staff based across 24 locations worldwide, working with more than 4,200 elite teams in over 100 countries globally.
I was initially asked to to art direct and produce a series of illustrations which would then be animated. The idea behind the series was to display a very iconic, diagrammatic look and feel that would display the very minimum of action.

In addition to the animation I was tasked with coming up with an art direction for the animations. I went with relatively bold lines with the brand colours. We had agreed on a very simplistic, elegant and modern style with very iconic forms.
